SLO County Yarn Crawl

SLO CO Yarn Crawl
Yes friends, it’s almost time for another SLO County Yarn Crawl!

The dates are Friday September 13 and Saturday September 14 from 10AM to 5PM. We have some FUN things planned, so mark your calendar and get ready for a weekend full of fun! Click here for the SLO County Yarn Crawl web site!

When you arrive at the shop, look for The Concierge, who will make sure you get the most out of your visit. There’s always fun, surprises, and goodies in store at the Ball & Skein!

We’ll “Kick-Off” the weekend on Friday at 5:30PM with an evening with Sam Sansbury of Colinette Yarns, all the way from Wales! As the son of Colinette, one of the original independent hand-dyers, he’s grown up in the business and will share with us his story and the story of their unique, multi-generational, family business.

Sam SansburyThe Friday Kick-Off party is free and will run from 5PM until about 7PM. Plenty of time for dinner in one of our fabulous local restaurants.

Sam will be around on Saturday in the shop to talk about the yarns, the company, and answer any questions you may have about their fabulous products.

On Saturday and Sunday, we’ll have a variety of Rowan Yarns available to ‘Taste’. You may discover a new favorite among their huge selection of yarns.

We also have a couple of the latest designs from Alchemy Yarns. And lots of giveaways!

All weekend we’ll have special kits, patterns, and other fun things going on. You’ll have plenty of time to get to all the shops, even if you do it all in one day, so don’t be afraid to linger. You never know what’s going to happen!

See you in September!
