Join us Saturday March 24 to learn about Yarn Substitutions!
You love the pattern, but aren’t sure about the yarn. You love the yarn, but will it work for this pattern? These are issues we face every day in the shop. In this class will unravel the seemingly complex world of yarn substituting. We will explore the numerous types of yarns, yarn weights, composition, yardage requirements, and more! We will look at real world substitutions using projects we’ve made in the shop. In addition, we’ll look at substitution questions brought by you and your fellow attendees!
As we’re not actually knitting or crocheting, you won’t need to bring any supplies.
An open mind, and something to take notes with, if that would help. Please bring any patterns or questions you may have about yarn substitutions.
