Layla, designed by Elizabeth Smith, is a boxy, oversized cardigan layering piece featuring contrasting color skinny stripes and knit up with worsted-weight yarn. It has a bit of a 70’s vibe, which is what inspired the name (you know, that great song by Eric Clapton/Derek and the Dominos).
Knit all in one-piece from the bottom-up, Layla will be your go-to layering piece this fall and winter!
For the yarn, we chose HiKoo Sueno Worsted, a fabulous Merino/Viscose blend that's simply delightful to work with. This Peruvian blend of soft superwash merino and bamboo has long-lasting durability and a soft springy hand so you should be able to enjoy your piece for a long time to come.
The kit comes with the yarn you need as well as the pattern. If you also need needles, click here to do a search for the needles you need!
