Hatfield Hat and Mitts

The evenings are getting longer, and we think about spending them making fun things that warm us! We’re hosting a class to make these beautiful Hatfield Hat and Mitts by Lana Jois for Fairmount Fibers, the US Distributor for Manos del Uruguay Yarns. Both the hat and mitts take one skein each of Manos del Uruguay’s Maxima yarn, a worsted weight pure merino yarn that shows lovely knit patterns and is soft to the touch!  We will cover working with knitting in the round using circular needles for the hat and working in the round using double points for both the mitts and hat. The pattern includes reading “charts” to create the lovely design used in both pieces. We will cover tips and tricks when working in the round.
