A soft and chunky scarf designed for a California girl heading to college in Minnesota! (That's not Emmy in the picture). The scarf is knit with three skeins of Maxima from Manos del Uruguay held double, so it goes pretty fast.
Stitch gauge is given for stockinette, as a reference point. This is the gauge achieved when yarn is held double.
Though this is a “One Size” pattern, it can easily be lengthened or shortened by knitting more or fewer pattern repeats.
