Noro Haunui 02 South Canterbury


Haunui from Noro is a very unique yarn. It's from a single breed of sheep on one farm in New Zealand! The name Haunui translates as 'place of the winds'. These sheep have been fred for generations and are a combination of New Zealand Halfbred and Fine Romney. Unlike most Noro yarns, Haunui is undyed so you can enjoy the soft, beautiful, natural colors and feel of this delightful yarn. It knits at 14 - 16 sts to 4" (Bulky). It's 100% Haunui wool, and you get approximatly 437 yards per 200 gram skein! Hand wash.
